The Assistant Manager – Key Account Sales is a pivotal position responsible for nurturing and expanding our most significant client relationships. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to increase sales and profitability for key accounts.
  • Maintain regular contact with key accounts to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Track and report sales performance metrics to senior management regularly.
  • Resolve client issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create impactful sales materials and promotions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and continue professional development.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales team members to foster skill development and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a sales or account management role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to develop and maintain lasting relationships with key account clients.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into strategic plans.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for daily tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities with a propensity for teamwork and collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites and industry events.
