Job Description

The Assistant Manager in Human Resources is a vital part of the HR department, playing a key role in supporting the team and ensuring efficient operations. This position is perfect for an individual who is passionate about employee engagement, recruitment, and the development of company culture. The Assistant Manager will work closely with HR leadership and other departments to assist in designing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's objectives. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process from end to end.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify future hiring needs and competencies.
  • Administer employee onboarding and assimilation programs for new hires.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all HR practices.
  • Serve as a bridge between management and employees to address grievances.
  • Develop training and development programs to nurture employees' skills and talents.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain and report on workplace health and safety standards.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development of employee engagement models.
  • Administer and renew employee benefits programs and negotiate with providers.
  • Create, update, and maintain internal databases and records for personnel and payroll.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar HR role, with supervisory experience as a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong understanding of HR software systems, including recruiting and HRIS tools.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations with practical application.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach and the ability to manage conflict situations.
