The role of an Assistant – Business Support is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of business activities within an organization. This position acts as a backbone for various business functions, liaising between different departments, and ensuring that all administrative and support tasks are executed seamlessly. The Assistant – Business Support is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the management team, contributing significantly to improving productivity and enhancing service delivery. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling communications, and aiding in the preparation of reports and presentations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in multitasking, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage executive schedules and appointments efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
  • Coordinate meetings and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely attendance.
  • Conduct research, assemble and analyze data to prepare reports and documents.
  • Manage and organize documentation, ensuring it's easily accessible and up-to-date.
  • Act as the point of contact between managers, stakeholders, and other business units.
  • Assist in managing and tracking project deadlines and deliverables efficiently.
  • Support event planning and execution to ensure successful business functions.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory and order as necessary.
  • Facilitate effective internal communication to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Provide overall administrative support to ensure seamless departmental operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or business support role is necessary.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical for success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a high sense of responsibility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges encountered.
