Job Description

The Accounts Payable Executive is an integral part of the finance team, responsible for overseeing the processing of invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role involves collaborating with various departments to manage outgoing expenditures effectively and ensure that all financial obligations are met promptly. The ideal candidate will have an acute attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Process and verify all invoices and payment requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure all payment transactions comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate reporting of account balances.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update vendor files and manage payment schedules effectively.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments accurately on time.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and correct any errors.
  • Assist in month-end closing by managing financial records and reports.
  • Support audits by providing timely and accurate financial information as needed.
  • Implement continuous improvements to the accounts payable process for efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure cohesive financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with established financial reporting standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in an accounts payable or related role.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a keen sense of accuracy in financial reports.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies amicably.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations related to financial reporting and transactions.
