Job Description

The Automotive Spare Parts Store Keeper plays a critical role in the automotive industry, ensuring that the necessary parts and equipment are always available for vehicle repairs and maintenance. This position requires individuals to manage inventories efficiently and effectively, keeping track of stock levels and ordering parts when necessary to meet demand. Responsibilities include organizing the storage area, monitoring inventory levels, maintaining records, and ensuring that all automotive spare parts are stored properly and securely. Store Keepers must have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of automotive parts to identify and categorize them correctly. Communication skills are essential, as this role often involves interacting with suppliers, customers, and automotive technicians to ensure the smooth operation of the store.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize the storage area to ensure easy access and inventory management.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking of parts.
  • Process orders by sourcing parts from suppliers and ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, transactions, and customer orders for transparency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of automotive parts as needed.
  • Ensure all automotive spare parts are stored securely and in proper conditions.
  • Work closely with automotive technicians to fulfill their parts requirements efficiently.
  • Assist customers in locating and selecting the correct automotive spare parts.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in inventory management or related field is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and equipment for accurate identification.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and other computer applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good physical condition to handle and move heavy automotive parts regularly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
