Web Developer

 Role Overview 

Vectra AI is looking for a Web Developer  to build and maintain our web presence, and to grow into a new kind of role on our team: the human checkpoint for AI-assisted web production. 

This is a hands-on developer role today, and an evolving quality and judgment role tomorrow. As AI takes on more of the routine work of building and updating web pages, this person will take on more of the work only a person can do: reviewing AI-generated and AI-edited pages for accuracy, brand voice, and functionality before anything goes live. Success in this role requires real curiosity about AI-powered development and content tools, and the initiative to learn how to direct and review their output as they evolve. 

This role will maintain and build out Vectra AIs website in Webflow, and will partner closely with the Sr. Web Developer, the SEO Manager, and other Digital Team stakeholders as the team connects its web and content tools to AI systems (for example, via MCP) to scale output responsibly. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Digital, who owns Vectra AIs digital strategy. 

Key Responsibilities 

Website Development & Content Operations 

• Build, update, and maintain Vectra AI web pages in Webflow, translating wireframes, copy, and design into polished, responsive experiences, and support landing page creation and content publishing across Digital Team campaigns. 

• Perform website QA, testing, accessibility reviews, and other checks to catch issues before anything goes live. 

• Partner with the SEO Manager to implement SEO and AEO recommendations across website content and digital experiences. 

• Partner with the Sr. Web Developer, Brand, and Product Marketing to ensure pages meet brand, technical, and search requirements. 

AI-Enabled Workflows & Quality Review 

• Review AI-assisted and AI-generated web work for accuracy, brand voice, and functionality before anything goes live, serving as the teams primary quality checkpoint. 

• Partner with the Sr. Web Developer to connect web and content tools to AI systems (for example, via MCP), flagging access-level risk (read-only versus read/write) as automation scales. 

• Build and refine QA checklists, documentation, and review processes, and identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks as more routine build work shifts to AI-assisted workflows. 

• Grow into ownership of the content review process, becoming the human in the middle between AI-generated web work and what Vectra AI publishes. 

Cross-Functional Support 

• Support reporting, audits, and documentation of processes and best practices to improve team scalability and knowledge sharing. 

• Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Digital, the SEO Manager, and the Sr. Web Developer to support shared team priorities. 

Qualifications Required 

• 3-5 years of experience in web development, content operations, or digital project support, ideally at a digital agency, B2B SaaS, or cybersecurity company. 

• Experience with Webflow or similar CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful, Drupal, Sitecore), including working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sufficient to troubleshoot and customize page builds. 

• Familiarity with SEO and AEO best practices, website publishing workflows, and digital user experience principles. 

• Sharp eye for detail and quality, comfortable reviewing content and code for accuracy, consistency, and brand fit. 

• Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and use AI or automation to build better ways of working, paired with real curiosity about AI-powered development and content tools and a willingness to learn how to direct and review their output rather than build everything by hand. 

• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across design, SEO, and content stakeholders. 

          Nice to have: 

• Experience with Figma or similar design handoff tools. 

• Exposure to connecting web or content tools to AI systems via APIs or protocols such as MCP. 

• Experience supporting landing page testing, conversion optimization, or user experience improvements. 

• Experience in a B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology environment.
