Network & Links: The Selected candidate will work with a highly motivated team involved in validation of complex kubernetes based solutions. The candidate will join with our Bangaloredevelopment center and will be part of Core Platforms & Products team inBangalore reporting to PM of the DC.

ROLE : V&V DesignerAs a Validation Designer, candidate will work to validate Driver Machine Interfaceapplication software. The candidate will demonstrate that software or software components fulfills its intended use when placed in its intended environment (real orsimulated).

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE : As a Verification & Validation (V&V) Designer, candidate will work work with ahighly motivated team involved in development of complex kubernetes based solutions. .The candidate will demonstrate that software or software components fulfils its intended use when placed in its intended environment (real or simulated).Candidate will interface with system, program, and quality teams to meetcommitments for quality, cost and delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES : As a Validation Designer he/she will interface with system, program, and quality teams to meet commitments for quality, cost and delivery and will execute following responsibilities:1. Define the Test strategy and Test Plan, Estimation and delivery schedule2. Specify, design and develop the validation environment & tools(Web/desktop applications, VM, test bench, OS, tools installation etc)3. Ensure requirements traceability according to Requirements ManagementPlan4. Integrate components from various development team, perform integration and prepare validation platform5. Use automation scripts, batch files to automate the integration and validation tasks6. Produce validation result reports and associated Change Requests(defects)7. Contribute to standardization by reusing existing solutions or by implementing reusable solutions8. Keep a strong link with the architects and designers through the wholeSoftware Validation cycle9. Apply organization processes and standardsEDUCATION:Bachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE & EEE or EquivalentBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in creation ofcode libraries, reusable codes, and model-based developments, He should beagile and adaptive to Project dynamicsDemonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization.Good Team player and have ownership towards assigned task &deliveries

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

• 3-8 years of experience in Software Testing, Requirement Based Testing.2. Good knowledge in SW Module/functional and integration testing3. Good knowledge of testing techniques like black box, boundary value analysis, Robustness analysis (Exposure to kubernetes based application testing is an added advantage)4. Understanding of regression analysis5. Knowledge of any configuration management tool like ClearCase etc..6. Knowledge of any bug reporting tool like Bugzilla ,Clear Quest etc..7. Experience in writing script using Python, Shell and work experinceon Linux/Ubuntu platforms is a huge plus8. Knowledge in Railway Signaling Domain is an added advantage
  
  

SOFTWARE SKILLS : Good knowledge in software validation and their related integrateddevelopment environmentProtocols –TCP/IP, SNMP, IMP, HTTPS, TLSStandards: CENELEC SIL4 / DO178A / DO178Familiarity with use of automation scripts, batch files to automate the integration and validation tasks

IT Skills : MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)LANGUAGE & SKILLS:1. Proficient in English language2. Good written and Verbal communication skills
