Role Overview

In this role, you will ensure software quality through comprehensive test strategy design, defect management, and UI/UX validation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, from sprint planning to release sign-offs, and utilize automation to enhance testing efficiency for web and mobile platforms.

Position Responsibilities

• Test Strategy: Design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases and checklists covering functional, regression, and integration testing.

• User Advocacy: Validate user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) consistency across different browsers and mobile devices.

• Release Support: Participate in release planning and sign off on builds before production releases.

• Bug Tracking: Document, report, and track software defects thoroughly using tools like Jira, and verify fixes once resolved.

• Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning and product reviews to provide early QA feedback on proposed features.

• Automation (good to have): Build and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications to increase testing efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in automated or manual software testing (Web and/or Mobile apps).

• Strong experience in setting up manual or automated test cases from scratch

• Tools: Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Confluence).

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of databases (SQL) and APIs (Postman) is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications
Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Hands on experience with headless CMS like Brightspot, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful OR Drupal
