UE Simulator -Technical Investigation And Support Specialist- Tieto Tech Consulting M F D

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 6+ years and he will act as the frontline technical triage lead for the issues reported and responsible for assessing incoming issues, determining ownership, and driving investigations to the appropriate teams.

Education:

• B.E./B.S./B.Tech./M.S./M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical Electronics/Computer Science

• 6 + years of industry RAN /UE side work experience.
• 3+ years of working experience in 5G/Troubleshooting.
• Good technical knowledge of 3GPP E2E procedures, protocols and debugging skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent communication and first level technical support skills.

Responsibilities:

Perform first-level analysis and triage of incoming trouble reports and support tickets based on priority.Analyze end-to-end system behavior and identify the likely root-cause area or responsible module.Investigate issues related to UE simulator tool , including flow analysis and code-level debugging.Provide technical assessment and redirect issues to the appropriate teams when ownership resides outside the UE simulator.Support cross-functional and cross-module investigations where issue ownership is unclear.Collaborate with Trouble shooter team, XFTs, development, testing and system teams to drive issue resolution.Track and follow up on issue ownership until the correct module is engaged.Contributes to improving troubleshooting efficiency, diagnostic methods, and investigation processes. 

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of UE protocol stacks, signaling procedures, and end-to-end call/data flows. Experience in telecom E2E system verification, integration, and product troubleshooting. Knowledge of 4G/5G network architecture, network functions, and system interactions. Experience in customer issue handling, technical support, and ticket investigation. Strong skills in  log analysis, tracing, and diagnostics. Experience in code-level debugging, root cause analysis, and navigating large codebases. Ability to quickly identify the impacted module/component and drive issue ownership to resolution. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working independently in Agile/XFT environments.
