Position: Treasury Asset Manager – Middle Office
Role Purpose
The Treasury Asset Manager – Middle Office is responsible for supporting the organization’s treasury activities through cash flow forecasting, treasury analysis, reporting, banking operations, investments, customer factoring, and borrowings. The role acts as a key bridge between front-office treasury decisions and back-office execution, ensuring strong governance, accuracy, and risk control.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Flow Forecasting
- Prepare and review short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity across entities.
- Analyze inflows and outflows, identify potential gaps, and provide recommendations to optimize cash utilization.
- Coordinate with business units, finance, and AP/AR teams to improve forecast accuracy.
Treasury Analysis
- Perform treasury-related financial analysis, including liquidity trends, funding requirements, and working capital movements.
- Support evaluation of financing options, investments, and risk exposure.
- Monitor interest costs, returns on surplus funds, and overall treasury efficiency.
Treasury Reporting (including PPT for Management)
- Prepare periodic treasury reports and dashboards for senior management in PPT format.
- Present insights on cash position, borrowings, investments, bank exposure, and key risks.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all treasury-related reporting.
Bank Payments and Investments
- Oversee bank payment processes to ensure timely and accurate execution in compliance with internal controls.
- Support placement and monitoring of short-term investments and fixed deposits.
- Ensure adherence to authorization matrices, banking agreements, and treasury policies.
Customer Factoring
- Manage and monitor customer factoring transactions, including coordination with banks and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate accounting, compliance with agreements, and timely settlement of factored receivables.
- Analyze factoring costs and support optimization initiatives.
Borrowings and Debt Management
- Track borrowings, loan repayments, interest schedules, and covenant compliance.
- Maintain debt registers and monitor utilization against approved limits.
- Support refinancing activities, new loan drawdowns, and lender reporting requirements.
Controls, Compliance, and Process Improvement
- Ensure treasury operations comply with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support process automation and efficiency initiatives (e.g., Host-to-Host, Auto BRS).
- Actively participate in bank account rationalization and cost-reduction initiatives.

Work Experience
Qualifications & Experience (Indicative)
- CA / MBA (Finance) / equivalent professional qualification preferred
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury or finance middle office
- Hands-on experience with banking portals, cash forecasting, and treasury systems
