Job Description

Role Objectives:

• Develop comprehensive technical documentation that meets organizational standards.
• Gain a deep understanding of products and services and translate complex information into straightforward, polished, and engaging content.
• Write user-friendly content that addresses the target audience's needs, turning insights into language for user success.
• Develop and maintain a repository of documentation reference materials.
• Evaluate existing content and develop methods for improvement.
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of senior technical writers and interact with subject matter experts to understand project requirements.
• Research, outline, write, and edit content.
• Collaborate with different teams to create end-user guides, API documentation, and deployment content.
• Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for reader comprehension.
• Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, maintaining a consistent voice across all documentation.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Three to five years of experience as a technical writer.
• Previous experience in a software development environment.
• Highly skilled in the English language.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
• Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and MadCap Flare.
  
  

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in communications or a technical field.
• Previous experience in the Financial Services sector.
• Basic image editing skills.
