The Technical Program Manager (TPM) provides end-to-end technical oversight and delivery governance for the most complex AI and digital transformation programmes within the Operations domain. This role combines deep technical acumen with programme management rigour to ensure that technology solutions are delivered at scale, on time, and within budget — while managing technical risk and dependencies across multiple teams and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Programme Delivery
Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale AI, automation, and digital transformation programmes across Operations
Define and govern technical architecture decisions, integration patterns, and data strategies across programmes
Own the technical programme roadmap and ensure alignment with the broader Operations transformation strategy
Drive resolution of complex technical blockers, cross-system dependencies, and architectural risks
Engineering & AI Oversight
Partner with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and platform teams to ensure AI solutions are production-ready
Govern data pipelines, model deployment, and infrastructure readiness across transformation workstreams
Establish and enforce engineering standards, code quality practices, and CI/CD pipelines
Review and challenge technical designs to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability
Risk, Governance & Reporting
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks across the programme portfolio
Maintain programme health dashboards with clear RAID logs, milestone tracking, and dependency maps
Provide executive-level technical reporting and present at steering committees
Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, data governance, and regulatory requirements
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Engage senior technical and business stakeholders to align on delivery scope, timelines, and trade-offs
Manage relationships with technology vendors, system integrators, and cloud service providers
Drive RFP/RFI processes for technology procurement as required
Qualifications & Experience
7–12 years of experience in technical programme or project management roles
Strong technical background in software engineering, data platforms, or AI/ML systems
Proven track record delivering complex, multi-team programmes in Operations, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing
Expertise in Agile at scale (SAFe, LeSS) and hybrid delivery methodologies
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data architecture, and API integration
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent programme management certification preferred
Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycle management, MLOps, and model governance
