- Run program ceremonies (kickoffs, standups, weekly status, risk/dependency reviews).
- Risk and issue management
- Identify technical and delivery risks early; maintain risk registers; drive mitigations.
- Escalate issues with clear context, options, and impacts; facilitate trade-off decisions.
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication
- Align requirements with Product, Engineering, and partner/customer teams.
- Provide clear, concise status updates, dashboards, and narratives; represent the program in reviews.
- Process improvement and PMO governance

- Lead retrospectives for the program; implement tooling/process improvements; share playbooks.
- Team leadership and culture
- Mentor project managers/analysts and partner engineers on estimation, planning, and risk practices.
- Model ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement; foster respectful, collaborative dynamics.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of project/program management in cloud, data platforms, or enterprise software; delivered multi-team initiatives.
- Technical fluency in relevant and modern cloud and data technologies.
- Experience translating requirements into executable technical plans.
- Strong planning, estimation, dependency management, and risk mitigation within agile/hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills: clear status/risk reporting and stakeholder alignment across product and engineering.
- Familiarity with relevant security, compliance, and data governance processes (e.g., GDPR).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a PMO-led environment, including portfolio governance and benefits realization.
- Hands-on familiarity with major cloud providers and data services (AWS/Azure/GCP; e.g., S3/ADLS/GCS, BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift, Databricks).
- Relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, CSM, ITIL) or equivalent experience.
- Experience with geographically distributed teams and data privacy requirements.
Core leadership behaviors
- Outcome-focused planning and delivery oversight within a defined domain.
- Systems thinking and architectural stewardship in partnership with tech leads.
- Transparent coordination, crisp narratives, and executive-ready status at the program level.
- Risk identification, mitigation, and timely escalation.
- Expectation management with product and engineering stakeholders.
- Technical coaching and a culture of learning within the program team.
- Continuous improvement and retrospective leadership.
- Compliance alignment and operational excellence for owned scope.
- Ownership and accountability.
Success metrics
- Program scope, timeline, and budget met; defined benefits realized (reliability, performance, cost, compliance).
- Improved delivery predictability and velocity; reduced carryover and unplanned work.
- Adoption of CDT standards, tooling, and governance within the program.
- Positive stakeholder feedback and sustained communication cadence.
