Technical Lead - Frontend

Were looking for a Frontend Technical Lead who can own the engineering vision for the platform end-to-end. This role is equal parts technical leadership, system and platform design, and people management. You will define our frontend engineering roadmap, raise the bar on architecture, improve developer productivity, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality sprint delivery. This is ideal for someone who thinks in systems and enjoys combining hands-on coding with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture end-to-end: design, build, and scale systems.
• Set the long-term technical direction.
• Lead initiatives around performance, security, observability, and platform reliability.
• Set standards for testing and code quality.
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices across the frontend org.
• Mentor and lead engineers in the team
• Own sprint planning, estimations, and delivery for frontend workstreams.
• Ensure predictable execution while balancing short-term needs with long-term tech health.
• Work with design teams to operationalize a scalable design system.
  
  

• 6-8 years building production-grade frontend applications at scale.
• Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and at least one modern framework (React/Angular).
• Strong grasp of frontend architecture patterns, state management, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, and Playwright), and observability tools.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, make trade-offs, and guide teams through ambiguity.
• Experience improving developer productivity through tooling, process, or automation.
• Experience leading an engineering team or mentoring senior engineers.
  
  

• Experience with micro-frontends, SSR, and PWA.
• Built products from scratch or previous experience working at a start-up.
• Experience with marketplace or discovery platforms.
• A history of working on side/hobby projects and contributing to open-source projects.
• Our tech stack is built on NodeJS, Angular, React, Redis, and MongoDB. We are tech stack agnostic when it comes to hiring.
