WPP is on a global transformation journey for its accounting and finance departments. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team with a great learning environment. We are looking for this role in India to support our US Tax team based in our New York Corporate Headquarters.

What youll be doing:

This role is a key player supporting the various tax compliance and reporting areas that are under the team’s responsibility.

  • Prepare Federal Tax Returns for US legal entities (Corporations, Partnerships, Foundations, etc.)
  • Calculate book to tax differences (permanent and timing differences) for US legal entities.
  • Assist with preparation of overall US consolidated tax return filing including forms, schedules, and elections.
  • Assist with preparation and completion of year-end tax provision, US federal taxable income forecasts, and estimated tax payment calculations.
  • Assist with tax planning & transactional related assignments.
  • Support Tax Directors and Senior Tax Managers with their daily projects and assignments.
  • Oversee Tax Interns with their assignments and provide mentoring.

What youll need:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting or Taxation.
    • 3+ years of experience into US Federal Taxation (US Corporations & Partnership Firms returns)
    • Experience in CorpTax tool is mandatory.
    • Hybrid work arrangement with standard UK hours.
    • Strong working knowledge of US domestic tax rules and tax reporting obligations relating to Form 1120 and related schedules and tax forms.
    • Intermediate to advanced level tax preparation skills.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
    • Strong problem solving and organizational skills; high level of attention to details.
