Job Description

5-8 years of hands-on experience in Tableau Desktop development.

• Proficient in SQL for querying and transforming large datasets.
• Strong experience with data preparation tools such as Tableau Prep.
• Working knowledge of AWS Redshift or similar data warehousing technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with data modelling.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles, KPIs, and dashboard performance tuning.
• Agile mindset with ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Experience with workflow management tools like Jira and Service Now.
• Experience with documentation management tools like Confluence, Bit-Bucket and Collibra.
• Experience in an analytically driven role. - consulting and analytics mindset necessary.
• Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards focused on usability, performance, and business value.
• Present data insights using visual storytelling techniques that support data-driven decision-making.
• Create and manage calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions, semantic layers, and aggregates.
• Adhere to Data governance principles and uplift maturity with documentation, controls, and rigorous processes.
• Apply best practices in UI/UX designs, colour theory, and layout optimization to enhance user experience.
• Focused on value addition for the role and customers working in close alignment to business goals.
