Join Amazons Process Automation and Campaign Excellence (PACE) team to build AI-powered automation solutions that bridge Salesforce and Amazon Advertising systems, orchestrating the deployment and management of some of Amazons largest advertising campaigns. Youll develop intelligent workflows using modern AI techniques to transform how our advertising operations teams execute high-value campaigns, reducing manual effort while ensuring accurate, on-time delivery that exceeds advertiser expectations.

Key job responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered automation solutions that bridge Salesforce and Amazon Advertising systems, focusing on campaign trafficking, workflow orchestration, and operational excellence improvements.
• Build scalable technology solutions using modern software engineering practices, including APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure to support high-volume advertising operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering partners to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverable systems.
• Apply operational excellence principles by developing monitoring, alerting, and automated testing frameworks that ensure system reliability and performance at scale.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Contribute to AI/LLM automation initiatives by developing autonomous processing capabilities for campaign management and integrating Generative AI models into production workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing while maintaining Amazons high engineering standards and accessibility requirements.
  
  

A day in the life

Youll start by monitoring AI-powered campaign automation workflows across Amazons advertising platforms. Your morning might involve collaborating with product managers to design new Salesforce integrations that automate high-value campaign trafficking. Afternoons could find you developing APIs connecting Salesforce Campaign Manager with Amazon DSP, or building machine learning models that prevent campaign execution errors. Youll troubleshoot complex technical issues spanning multiple systems, participate in architecture reviews with senior engineers, and contribute to operational excellence through automated testing and monitoring. Your work directly impacts Amazons largest advertising campaigns, transforming how operations teams execute at scale.

The Process Automation and Campaign Excellence (PACE) team sits at the intersection of Amazon Advertisings most critical operational workflows. Were embedded within the broader Support Products & Services organization, giving you access to collaborate with Senior SDEs and Applied Scientists across our Seattle and New York offices. Our cross-functional and diverse team of builders and innovators is focused on transforming how Amazon launches and manages high-value advertising campaigns through intelligent automation. Our mission is to revolutionize advertising operations by combining the latest in AI technology with deep business knowledge and varied perspectives from our talented team members.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure
• Experience with iterative, agile development methodologies (including scrum)
• Knowledge of best practices for software deployment
• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline
• Experience coding, scripting, automating in at least one language (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell)
• Knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
