Sustenance Engineer

Role

Support troubleshooting, analysis, and continuous improvement of complex X-ray systems by

applying strong electronics fundamentals and a structured problem-solving approach.

Key Responsibilities – Supporting Sustenance activities

• Assist in troubleshooting field and internal failures in X-ray systems (electrical/electronic level)
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) using structured methods (5 Why, Fishbone, etc.)
• Perform basic measurements and debugging using tools like Multimeter, Oscilloscope (if
  
  

• Work with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Service) to resolve issues
• Document findings, test results, and corrective actions clearly
• Continuously learn system architecture, subsystems, and failure modes
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
• Diploma with 0–4 years of experience
• Freshers with strong fundamentals and good academics can apply
  
  

• Strong fundamentals in:
• Basic electronics (resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors)
• Digital electronics (logic gates, digital ICs, Combinational circuits, etc)
• Circuit understanding and schematic reading
• Basic electrical concepts (voltage, current, grounding, signals)
• Exposure (academic or project-level) to:
• Troubleshooting or debugging circuits/systems
• Lab instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope – added advantage)
  
  

• Demonstrates structured thinking in problem solving (not guesswork)
• Shows curiosity to understand “why a failure happens”
• Has done hands-on projects / practical work, not just theoretical knowledge
• Able to break down complex problems into smaller parts
• Willingness to learn new domains like X-ray systems and medical devices
• Communicates clearly and works well in a team environment
  
  

• Internship/project experience in:
• Electronics debugging
• Embedded systems / hardware testing
• Basic understanding of medical devices or safety standards (IEC 60601
