Job Description
We are seeking a talented Optical Lead to join our dynamic team, contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge optical coherent transponder cards. As an optical engineer focused on Optical Transponder design, optical integration and oDVT (optical design verification test), you will play a crucial role in design, bringing up optimal performance and ensuring the optical performance and quality
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Lead the integration process of optical modules into optical line cards and ensuring optical performance.
- Develop key calibration procedures for various optical modules.
- Collaborate with XF team to improve the performance.
- Develop and implement testing methodologies to evaluate key performance for coherent line modules.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including test plans, test procedures and test reports.
Key Skills And Experience
- Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Optical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 8-12 years of relevant work experience.
- Must have designed optical line card/systems
- Must have experience in optical integration and testing of coherent module/transponders
- Proven experience in optical design, testing, and integration, particularly with optical transponders or related components.
- Familiarity with optical characterization equipment and measurement techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex optical systems.
