The Global Sourcing and Contract Management team maximizes value from OpenText’s vendor ecosystem while enabling business continuity across the organization. As APAC Lead – Facilities Sourcing, this role provides strategic leadership, thought leadership, and mentorship, operating as a senior procurement partner in a complex, matrixed environment. It owns the long‑term Facilities category roadmap, leading category strategies, supplier programs, and value‑creation initiatives aligned to enterprise goals. The role manages a broad Facilities portfolio, strengthening supplier relationships and partnering closely with senior leadership to deliver contractual, operational, and strategic outcomes.

What The Role Offers

• Build strong partnerships with Facilities stakeholders and define sourcing strategies aligned to business needs across APAC.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing Facilities Sourcing team, driving proactive pipeline and relationship management.
• Own and deliver the APAC Facilities category strategy and annual plans to optimize cost, quality, risk, and leverage scale.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise, lead end‑to‑end RFx, negotiations, and supplier evaluations for major initiatives.
• Optimize supplier performance through contract compliance, continuous improvement, innovation, and TCO reduction.
• Drive cross‑functional sourcing initiatives, continuous improvement, and post‑M&A contract synergies.
• Support financial planning, benchmarking, industry insight, and act as the APAC leadership point for Facilities sourcing governance and compliance.
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Minimum of 10 years of Strategic Sourcing and Category Management experience, previous program or project management experience as well as strong knowledge of business processes, internal controls, and improvement initiatives.
• Significant leadership experience required, including managing senior‑level stakeholders and leading cross‑functional teams in a matrixed structure.
• Demonstrated experience in APAC Facilities strategic sourcing and category management. Bachelor degree/diploma in Business/Commerce, MBA, LLB, Engineering or Supply Chain management preferred.
• Professional designation/certification in Supply Chain Management (PMAC SCMP / CPP, ISM) and/or PMP an asset.
• Global mindset required, global experience preferred
