We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise web applications using .NET Framework and related Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate should possess strong software engineering fundamentals.
We are seeking a candidate that is out of our India Office, can start out working the evening shift (5pm – 2am IST aka 8am-5pm EST), and that has experience supporting or developing in our Animal modules (IACUC, AOPS, Safety, Facilities).
The role involves developing scalable applications, contributing to technical design decisions, mentoring junior team members, and exploring AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET Framework.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop reusable, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Tech leads, QA team, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, optimize existing applications and resolve critical and complex issues.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, technical discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Ensure application security, performance, and reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.
• Define and implement Agentic AI driven development workflows to enhance productivity and code quality.

Required Skills:

• Strong full-stack development expertise across .NET technologies
• Proven experience in modernizing legacy applications and seamlessly integrating AI capabilities into existing applications
• Strong system design, analytical thinking, and advanced debugging/problem-solving capabilities
• Experience in conducting code reviews, refactoring, and enhancing the maintainability of legacy codebases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
