A creative Senior Software Engineer DevOps to join our team and help us establish and employ continuous Integration and continuous delivery patterns and collaboratively work with other members to achieve successful continuous delivery solutions.

It has an essential role in integrating the project functions and resources across the product life cycle, right from planning, building, testing, and deployment to support. Senior Software Engineers with DevOps are conversant with all the technical as well as IT operations aspects for integrated operations. Work alongside security engineers in mitigating security vulnerabilities. Tasks like data management and library updates for new product releases combine with needs for leadership and collaboration across teams.

Are you the person we’re looking for?

Related experience. You are likely to have 5+ years of experience in architecting and building scalable software solutions. Your involvement in compute-intensive workloads and delivering solutions. You need to be an expert in Software Development Life Cycle, Automation tools, frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting hosting environment issues.

DevOps engineers understand the fundamentals of application development and delivery, able to work in a highly dynamic & fast-paced environment. Collaboration with different teams of developers, testers, and analysts, proactively identifying and resolving key technical issues.

Teamwork & collaboration. Your responsibilities will include coordination and collaboration with the development team to streamline code deployment is required.

Expertise in CI/CD. You will have to build automation infrastructure and support continuous enhancement of software development infrastructure- continuous integration and delivery, databases, cloud services, telemetry, etc. you are required to have Strong understanding on architectural principles for cloud-based platforms such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, and application servers.

Cloud experience. You will have experience in deploying and managing production environments on public Cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure, Cloud, and network security best practices. Experience architecting Cloud-based solutions that employ fault tolerance functionality and disaster recovery capabilities you must demonstrate your ability to analyse and understand complex problems and processes; your ability to identify and understand requirements.

Technical skills. Proficiency in Agile /Scrum methodology

• Code frameworks: Terraform and Cloud Formation
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, Java script, PowerShell
• Cloud Platform: AWS/Azure
• Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Rkt.Jira
• Integration tools; Jenkins, GitHub
• Network infrastructure: routers, switches, Firewalls, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP model
• Security frameworks: OAuth, WS-Security, encryption at rest, encryption in transit
  
  

Education: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

Certification. AWS/Azure/Kubernetes would be an added advantage
