Dolby is hiring in our fast growing Bangalore R&D Center are seeking a qualified and motivated candidate looking to design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and related technologies within the IT Enterprise Application organization. This person will be a part of the Web Applications technical team contributing towards projects and production support activities across all functional areas within the Microsoft .NET framework and related applications.

Responsibilities:

• Application Development:
• Designs, develops, and maintains web applications using C#, ASP.NET (Core/MVC), and other relevant .NET technologies.
• Writes clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Translates application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Develops and maintains RESTful APIs for integration with other systems.
• Ensures application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Database Management:
• Designs, implements, and maintains database structures using SQL Server or other relational/NoSQL databases.
• Optimizes database queries and ensures data integrity.
• Testing and Debugging:
• Writes and executes unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
• Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves application bottlenecks and bugs.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product owners, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers.
• Participates in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Contributes to sprint planning, technical estimations, and architectural discussions.
• Communicates technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stays updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Contributes to the improvement of development processes and tools.
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework (or .NET Core).
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core for web application development.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.).
• Experience with database design and development (SQL Server, Entity Framework).
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) is often a plus.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  
  

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of Information Technology application development experience.
• 5+ years’ experience designing, developing and administering web applications using C#, ASP.NET (Core/MVC), and other relevant .NET solutions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Azure Developer) can be a plus.
