We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 8+yrs strong hands‑on experience in mobile, web, and backend testing to help ensure quality across our product platforms. This role requires deep automation expertise, strong coding practices, and the ability to contribute actively across the entire testing lifecycle in a modern, cloud‑native engineering environment.

 
Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks for:
  • Mobile applications (Android & iOS) using Appium
  • Web applications using Selenium (or equivalent)
  • Backend and API services using Restsharp (or equivalent)
    
    
• Develop high‑quality, reusable automation scripts following strong coding and design standards.
• Execute and maintain end‑to‑end, regression, integration, and system test suites.
• Review and improve existing automation for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Able to contribute to framework development and enhancements
  
  

 
Backend, Data & Platform Testing

• Validate backend services and APIs interacting with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Test applications deployed in microservices and Kubernetes‑based environments, focusing on functional behavior, integration, and stability.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to ensure applications are testable in cloud‑native environments.
  
  

 
CI/CD & Delivery Quality

• Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality.
• Contribute to fast feedback cycles by identifying flaky tests and improving pipeline stability.
• Ensure test results, defects, and risks are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
  
  

 
Collaboration & Ownership

• Actively participate in requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is built into the delivery process.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team-wide automation best practices.
  
  

 
AI & Modern Testing (Exposure Level)

• Participate in testing efforts related to AI/ML‑enabled features or systems, including:
  • Input/output validation
  • Regression testing across model versions
  • Data quality or consistency checks
    
    
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing techniques (self‑healing tests, intelligent analytics, AI‑based test generation) is a plus.
  
  

 
Required Skills

• 8+ years of strong hands‑on experience in automation testing across mobile, web, and backend layers.
• Proven expertise in Appium (Android & iOS).
• Strong proficiency in C# preferred.
• Strong experience with BDD frameworks (SpecFlow or equivalent).
• Solid experience with REST API testing and backend service validation.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Experience testing systems running in Kubernetes-based, microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
