Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant (5+ Years Experience)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S4 HANA FICO Consultant with approximately 5+ years of hands-on expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling modules. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge, experience in end-to-end implementations, support projects, and proficiency in tools such as LSMW, Excel, and interface management. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth financial processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core SAP FICO Skills
• Strong knowledge of FI submodules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Credit Management, REFX Lease contracts) and CO (Cost Center Accounting, Accounting, Internal Orders, etc
• Strong knowledge of CO submodules: Cost Centers, Internal Orders, COPA.
• Experience in integration with MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Technical Tools & Activities
• Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, PI/PO, CPI) for interface issues and enhancements.
• Hands-on experience with LSMW for data migration.
• Experience in cutover planning and execution.
• Knowledge of interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs) between SAP and external systems (banking, third-party applications, etc.)
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot background jobs related to financial postings, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros preferred).
• Project Experience
• Minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP implementation or rollout projects.
• Experience in support and enhancement projects.
• Exposure to migration projects and reconciliation activities.
• Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or IT (MBA/CA/ICWA preferred).
• Around 5 to 7 years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• Exposure to S/4HANA Finance is an added advantage.
  
  

• Ability to handle end-to-end FICO processes independently.
• Flexibility to work on support, rollout, and implementation projects.
• Strong ownership of deliverables, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Willingness to collaborate with business users, technical teams, and external partners.
