As Data Architect, you play an important role in the digitization of our customers journey, ensuring availability, accuracy, and accessibility of our offer data on the web.
MISSION
You are responsible for the preparation of the data model in PIM, focusing on the quality and harmonization of common vocabulary and terms for the description of the medium voltage offers.
Prepare and implement in PIM certified data models, before their use in production under the validation of the Technical Standard Lead:
Based for technical characteristics on international standards (IEC, ISO, etc.)
Based for the marketing characteristics on the internal terminology of schneider-electric
Filed in PIM taxonomy
In accordance with international standards (etim and eclass)
Responsabilities
Create certified Data Models in PIM (Product Taxonomy Class) in collaboration with TSL
Improve data quality of the legacy references by reworking on the existing data models (building blocks/PTC)
Enrich data model in PIM (define values for characteristics with the validation of the TSL)
Analyze, challenge, Monitor quality of offer data presentation on the web (global)
Participate to corporate programs (Offer Data Advanced) to improve data quality assets on web
Classify in the taxonomy tree all requested Commercial References for publication in PIM
Validate publication with Offer Data Lead and Product Owner and TOA and Technical standard Lead to ensure quality of the publication
Contribute on all Offer Information Management attributes and aspects (web e-catalogs, product finder, benefit bullets points, long description, Asset upload etc…) to improve customer experience.
Propose methodology to speed up Technical Standard Lead work (think out of the box), challenge the existing tools and process
Monitor the E2E publication through offer data quality tracking tool to ensure proper data quality publication (Offer DAM).
For all families of references used for publication on the web or for use in a configurator
Prepare structuring data in PIM:
Influence (Be part) of the data architect council: For the management of the missing characteristics in the PIM dictionary to ensure publication of medium voltage offers
Converge the customer experience vocabulary and dictionaries across tools and ranges
Gather a group to do a literature review:
To validate the structure of the data model with experts in the field (league marketing, influence & standards, Technical offer manager, Help desk)
To validate the Taxonomy tree, if possible with a link to the etim and eclass classes in collaboration with the Taxonomy & external standards lead
Network and work group:
Technical Standard Lead: to obtain pure technical characteristics based on standards (IEC, ISO)
Offer Data Lead: to obtain marketing characteristics and schneider electric / medium voltage invariants from Schneider Electric
Offer Data Sustainability Architect: to cross check data with external classification (etim, eclass)
Offer Data Governance team: participate to Network Of Excellence meetings dedicated to DA to be informed about latest features in PIM and all new offer data governance rules.
QUALIFICATION
Knowledge of electrical distribution offers and business (MV, LV)
Understanding of norms and standards (IEC/ISO…)
Good knowledge of the data management in PIM and the impact of the Customer Experience
