As a strategic technical advisor, you will help customers and sales teams navigate Server, Storage, Cloud, Networking and AI Infrastructure solutions across on-premises and hybrid environments. You would act as trusted advisor providing clear, outcome driven solutions for customer challenges, helping customers make confident technology decisions.

What you’ll achieve

As a Specialist 2, Inside Product, you will serve as a strategic technical advisor, translating customer business and technical requirements into actionable outcome-based solution recommendations across Dell Technologies ISG portfolio. You will lead discovery conversations, solution design, product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept sessions in partnership with sales teams to drive opportunity wins.  
 

Responsibilities

You will

• Serve as a strategic technical advisor across server, storage, networking, cloud and AI solutions portfolios for on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Lead discovery conversations and translate customer business and technical requirements into actionable solution architectures.
• Drive opportunities through targeted customer outreach while supporting sales team with technical solutioning, demonstrations, workshops and proof-of-concept sessions.
• Design and present customer-focused architectures, clearly communicating solutions business value and defending the recommended solution against competition.
• Act as trusted advisors by building relationships, driving modernization roadmaps, expanding Dell Technologies footprint, replacing competitive solutions and increasing market share.

Essential Requirements  

• B.Tech, B.E., or MCA graduate with 6 months to 2 years of experience in a technical sales environment, knowledge of multi-platform hardware and software solutions, and flexibility to work during night shifts.
• Strong organization, time-management, multitasking, demonstrated ability and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork, ownership, accountability and customer centric mindset while working in partnership with sales team and partner ecosystem.

Desirable Requirements  

• Experience in Server, Storage, Networking, Cloud and AI solutions across on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Experience in technical presales, datacenter support including presenting and technically defending solution architectures to customers in partnership with sales, as well as delivering product demonstrations, technical workshops or proof-of-concept sessions.
