We are seeking a Software QA Engineer who can create, design new project test plans to qualify the contents of project requirements and functional specifications. Design, test cases listed in the project test plan. Improve test specifications by analyzing the root causes of technical issues and develop testing solutions for those root causes. Create and apply new approaches as necessary to improve the productivity and efficiency of testing. Acquire customer inputs for project testing purposes. Technical lead in guiding junior engineers. Works with minimal supervision on complex projects with latitude for independent judgment. Moderate level of skill with extensive proficiency across multiple product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create/Review detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Drive implementation and adoption of highly automated product certification testing integrated into our CI/CD processes
• Manage automation framework, take ownership for design and development of web UI, web service API, integration test automation scripts & organize test suites
• Collaborate, communicate well across the QA team, and work with the cross functional teams to solve issues, move initiatives forward (Dev, DevOps, PM, Doc)
• Analyze test results, create test metrics and present test reports
• Testing micro-services using stubs, mocks and service virtualization
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in software engineering or similar technical field
• Min of 3 years relevant experience with leading Test Automation tools and frameworks such as Nightwatch, Mocha, Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, Postman and REST-Assured
• Proficiency in at least one programming languages Python, Javascript, Groovy, Golang.
• Knowledge on bug tracking tools like JIRA, other tool such as Github, Git lab.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in a distributed team
• Experience in testing cloud-based SaaS products.
• Self-motivated team player with strong problem solving and quality assurance skills
