We are seeking a Software Engineering Associate Manager to play a pivotal role in driving quality, automation, and technical excellence across these platforms. In this role, you will lead and mentor QA engineers, contribute hands-on to complex testing challenges, and act as a strong advocate for quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle. You will also collaborate closely with global R&D, Product, and DevOps teams as part of Siemens’ Quality Center of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Define and implement quality standards, processes, and best practices, ensuring consistency across enterprise products.
• Drive quality across the entire SDLC, partnering with Product Management and R&D to influence requirements, design, and testability.
• Oversee the design and execution of functional, stress, performance, and scalability testing, ensuring robust product validation.
• Lead and guide the development of automation frameworks and Python-based test suites, including CLI and backend testing.
• Act as a key quality advocate by analyzing defects, identifying root causes, and driving effective resolution across teams.
• Actively contribute to, critically review, and provide expert feedback on user stories, requirements, and design documents for new features including writing good test cases covering the use cases and automating them
• Participate in all release testing activities including execution of Manual and automated tests, identify bugs, verify the bugs that are fixed for the release.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in Software QA, including 2+ years in a lead or managerial role on enterprise-scale products.
• Expert proficiency in Python (preferably Python 3) for test automation, framework design, and scripting.
• Strong experience testing complex client/server systems across Linux and Windows, including command-line interfaces.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, communicate effectively, and operate in distributed global teams.
• Experience defining test strategies, test coverage, and quality metrics using QA test management systems.
