Allegion India is seeking a highly motivated, software engineer to join a development team responsible for building software applications targeted at extending security technology capabilities. As a member of a team, you will play an important role in the definition and development of applications that are leveraged extensively throughout the Allegion web, mobile and desktop product portfolios. A world leader in creating and sustaining comfortable and efficient environments, Allegion delivers the broadest product portfolio to empower customers to have safe and secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop the domain and product knowledge quickly
• Responsible for coding, testing, debugging, evaluating, and documenting application development on desktop, web based and mobile platforms using various technologies.
• Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them to elegant implementation.
• Interfacing with overseas counterparts frequently to resolve issues and status updates.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong programming abilities in C# or Java
• Strong in OOP concepts
• Strong in Database (SQL) concepts
• Strong knowledge of data structures, multithreading concepts.
• Should possess strong analytical and communication skills
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Must demonstrate flexibility for work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines
  
  

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of ASP.net, MVC

Knowledge of Android development/ IOS

Education

• BE or M Tech. in Computer Science Engineering or related field
