Job Description Summary

As a Software Engineer, Youll be Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform and/or application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.

You will work independently at the same time collaborate with all other roles within the teams to ensure project meets organizational standards and customer needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will

• Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
• Writes codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
• Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice
• Provide technical expertise in areas of design, and implementation.
• Demonstrate awareness of industry trends and domain expertise
  
  

Education Qualification

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

Technical Expertise

• Proven expertise (2+ years) in Python with Object Oriented experience, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework.
• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, multi-process architecture, Python data structures, and Python packaging
• Debugging and unit testing skills using a well-known and accepted unit testing framework
• Good understanding of Database queries
• Knowledge of Python frameworks (e.g: Flask, Django)
• Knowledge (2+ years) on RESTful API design and implementation

• Understands the technology landscape, up to date on current technology trends and new technology, brings new ideas to the team.
