Job Summary

As a Software Engineer (Java), you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-quality software systems. You will work primarily on Java-based backend services while collaborating closely with frontend, product, and design teams to deliver reliable and meaningful solutions.

• Work hands-on to learn techniques and model good practice, and to remain grounded in the problems faced by team members, in building and shipping high-quality code at a sustainable pace.
• Work with engineers, product owners, and designers.

• You have 3+ years of experience working hands-on as a Software Engineer in an agile environment, being well-versed in agile and lean principles, and experienced at the continuous delivery of value.

• You create technical options, especially in code and system interactions.
• You actively invest in your technical skills.

What You Bring To The Team

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in object-oriented Java development.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid experience with automated testing (unit and integration tests).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve performance and reliability issues.
• B2-level proficiency in English.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of Spring application development
• Proficiency in team leadership
• Experience with Extreme Programming practices and principles
• Experience with evolutionary design
• Working knowledge of cloud architecture and 12-factor applications
• Understanding of continuous improvement
• Experience leveraging AI to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality
• Proficiency working in a CI/CD environment
• Ability to isolate and address performance problems
