Job Overview

Practo is seeking a talented Software Engineer - II to join our development team. As an SE-II, you will

be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

❖ Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java 8 and Spring

Boot.

❖ Build and optimize backend services and APIs, ensuring scalability, performance, and

security.

❖ Design and manage data models using MySQL/PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and

efficiency.

❖ Optimize database queries and implement best practices for database management and

scaling.

❖ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers,

and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

❖ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience

will also be considered.

❖ Hands-on experience in Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.

❖ Experience with relational databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL and in-memory data stores like

Redis/Memcache.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

❖ 2 to 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend technologies.

❖ Proven experience in building and scaling distributed systems.

❖ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

❖ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

❖ Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
