Description

Skyworks Solutions is seeking a highly motivated multidisciplinary individual to drive software/AI development and workflows automation to accelerate innovation across our semiconductor products. This role sits at the intersection of muti-tier software product and platform development and EDA tools, silicon design flows, and scalable software systems. Your work will make a direct impact on companies top and bottom line.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience building innovative products from ground up, automate processes, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

What you will do

• Build Software products and platform for semiconductor design automation supporting design, tapeout and manufacturing
• Develop software / AI solutions to improve productivity, quality, reliability and design reuse.
• Integrate commercial EDA tools via API/CLI into Skyworks design flows
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define automation requirements.
• Debug design flow issues and improve tool reliability and scalability.
• Define and develop good software development practices
• Support semiconductor tape‑out schedules and continuous improvement initiatives
• Use AI/ML to optimize process, built more predictability, reliability across the process flows.
  
  

Required Experience And Skills

What you bring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant solid industry Full-stack software development experience
• Stong experience with software tech-stack - User Interface. Backend (Python, C++, Java), Databases (SQL)
• Experience with workflow automation
• Experience using Machine learning models to solve complex challenges.
• Experience developing custom AI agents, MCP servers
• Experience leading DevOps (github, jenkins)
• Experience hositng application on web server
• Confortable working with both Linux and Windows environment
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and/or Perforce/CI/CD
• Familiarity with batch processing systems, job scheduling, and flow orchestration
• Strong system design expert and a critical thinker
  
  

Software Engineering & Operations

• Ability to host, operate, and scale web‑based software tools in Unix/Linux environments
• Experience setting up and maintaining Apache (or similar) web servers in on‑premises environments
• Working knowledge building software product which are secure by design
  
  

Cloud & Modern Tooling

• Experience or familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar) to improve productivity and automation
  
  

Desired Experience And Skills

Nice to Have

• Domain experience in semiconductor
• Exposure to large‑scale EDA compute environments or regression infrastructures
• Experience supporting hybrid on‑prem + cloud engineering platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts applied to EDA flows and tooling
