Job Description

As a Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of the company. You will lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in developing and executing engineering strategies that meet customer requirements and drive business growth.

You will report directly to the Engineering Director, and you’ll work out of our Bangalore location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions.
• Develop and execute engineering strategies to drive business growth and meet customer requirements.
• Set the technical vision and long-term roadmap for multiple teams, ensuring alignment with the companys overall strategy and product vision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance on complex Architectural designs, code quality and mentorship to team members.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Act as a escalation point for production/customer issues and lead the team through resolution in timely manner.
  
  

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 4+ years of experience in engineering management and overall experience of 12+ years
• Technical expertise: Hands-on experience with relevant programming languages and technologies (C++, C#.Net, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Javascript)
• Knowledge of Industrial domain in Controls systems (DCS) or Advanced Process Control would be an added advantage for consideration.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex engineering products.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, ability to lead, mentor, and motivate large engineering teams
• Strong technical acumen in Architecture, Design skills both Windows applications and Web applications.
• Agile mindset: Strong working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
