• ServiceNow SPM Architect
Responsibilities
Core SPM Architecture & Functions
• Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
• Design solutions across Strategic Planning, Innovation and Demand Management, Portfolio Planning, Project and Program Management, Resource Management, Financial Planning, Timecard Management, Benefits Realization, and Enterprise Agile Planning.
• Define SPM process, data, security, integration, reporting, and workspace architecture aligned with business strategy and governance requirements.
• Design planning-item structures, scoring and prioritization frameworks, investment and funding models, capacity planning, and value-realization processes.
• Define integration architecture with Jira, Azure DevOps, ERP and financial systems, HR platforms, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise applications using Integration Hub and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Establish scalable, secure, performant, and upgrade-safe solution standards with preference for out-of-box capabilities.
AI, Now Assist & Agentic Automation
• Define the AI roadmap and architecture for SPM using Now Assist, generative AI skills, AI agents, and agentic workflows.
• Architect AI-assisted use cases for feedback and document summarization, conversational demand creation, demand summarization, similar-demand identification, planning-item refinement, project and portfolio insights, goal insights, and story generation.
• Conduct discovery workshops and design reviews with strategy, portfolio, PMO, finance, product, resource, and technology stakeholders.
• Translate business objectives into SPM transformation roadmaps, module sequencing, target-state architecture, and delivery plans.
• Act as the design authority and provide functional and technical guidance to developers, consultants, testers, and integration teams.
• Support estimations, proposals, demonstrations, solution presentations, governance forums, cutover planning, hypercare, and managed-services transition.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Functional Skills
• 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 6+ years on ServiceNow and 3+ years leading SPM architecture or solution design.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow SPM processes, data model, workspaces, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, UI Builder, Performance Analytics, security, and release management.
• Experience delivering at least two end-to-end enterprise SPM implementations or major transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of strategic planning, demand and portfolio governance, project delivery, resource and capacity planning, financial planning, benefits realization, and Agile delivery.
• Working knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, grounding, AI orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and responsible-AI practices.
• Experience defining integration patterns, non-functional requirements, global data models, and multi-business-unit governance.
Soft Skills
• Strong consulting, architecture, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
