Full Stack Developer – Developer Portal & API Onboarding

Job Description

This role is responsible for building high‑quality front‑end user experiences, robust backend services, and scalable cloud deployments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Ideal candidates excel in React UI/UX development, Java/Spring Boot, and cloud-native engineering, with a strong passion for improving developer experience

• Design, develop, and enhance customer-facing and internal-facing portal interfaces using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS.
• Build clean, modular, and reusable UI components following best practices and design system standards.
• Create responsive, accessible, and highly intuitive UI flows that align with UX guidelines.
• Optimize front-end performance, load times, and component-level rendering.
• Work closely with UX designers to convert wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into polished user experiences.
• Contribute to and evolve a UI component library/design system to ensure visual and interaction consistency across the portal.
  
  

Back-End Development

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Integrate backend services with API catalogs, onboarding workflows, documentation systems, and enterprise services.
• Implement robust logging, validation, exception handling, and secure API communication patterns.
• Support service logic, data models, and middleware powering portal functionality.
  
  

Cloud Engineering (GCP-Focused)

Deploy and support application components on Google Cloud Platform leveraging:

• Cloud Run
• Bigtable
• Secret Manager
• IAM
• Terraform (IaC)
  
  

Additional cloud responsibilities include:

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Enhancing application reliability, observability, resiliency, and performance across environments.
• Collaborating with cloud engineering teams to evolve architecture and platform capabilities.
  
  

Developer Experience & Portal Enablement

• Support improvements to self-service onboarding, API discovery, and developer productivity features.
• Maintain documentation for UI components, backend services, workflows, and architectural patterns.
• Provide guidance to internal teams integrating with or consuming the Developer Portal.
  
  

Collaboration & Delivery

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.
• Contribute to code reviews, architectural decisions, and reusable engineering patterns.
• Deliver incremental enhancements aligned with roadmap priorities.
• Identify and recommend improvements to UI design, performance, system scalability, and user experience.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Must to have:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, UI/UX development Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API implementation GCP services: Cloud Run, Bigtable, IAM, Secret Manager Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation
  
  

Goot to have:

• Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications in GCP.
• Strong understanding of API-driven architectures, integration patterns, and microservices.
• Excellent debugging, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
