This opportunity is part of a telecommunications R&D project focused on a Session Border Controller (SBC) platform that operates at the edge of IP networks to secure and manage voice and video traffic. The solution protects against security threats, ensures interoperability between systems, and supports services such as VoIP, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and SIP trunking.

The role offers the chance to work as a Cloud Software Tester on modern cloud-native (CNF) IMS environments, contributing to the quality and reliability of carrier-grade communication systems used in operator and enterprise networks worldwide.

You will collaborate with a diverse, international engineering team, contribute to innovative R&D initiatives, and grow your expertise in a dynamic, cutting-edge technology environment.

Your tasks

• Performing integration, functional, and system testing of cloud-native telecom applications
• Configuring, maintaining, and reconfiguring test and laboratory environments
• Analysing issues, troubleshooting problems, and managing defects through the full test lifecycle
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, strategies, test cases, and test scripts
• Collaborating closely with multinational R&D and development teams
• Supporting and executing test automation activities using Python and Robot Framework
  
  

Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in IP Networking and networking protocols
• Hands-on experience with Linux
• Experience working with Kubernetes environments
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Background in telecom or networking-focused projects
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience with Robot Framework
• Knowledge of IMS architecture and signaling
• Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift
• Previous work with OpenStack Cloud
