Introduction

As an International Senior Tax Analyst, reporting to the International Tax Director, you will be instrumental in strategic tax compliance and planning, supporting tax advisory, tax controversy and related matters as well as driving automation within the tax team. You will be hands-on, understand tax operations, and have the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

This will be a hybrid role based in the office at least 2 days a week

Role Summary

  • Lead end-to-end tax compliance for international legal entities, ie corporate income tax, tax instalments, WH, including support with tax related matters for statutory financial statements
  • Support the global and international tax team with consultancy projects, ad-hoc advisory matters, cross-border queries and regulatory changes
  • Drive process standardization and documentation, automation, and control enhancements across the tax compliance cycle

Key responsibilities

International Tax compliance and Reporting

  • Manage corporate income tax process: coordinate preparation, review, and filing of corporate tax returns with external advisors; prepare tax packs, reconcile to statutory results, track assessments/notices, and manage payments and refunds while maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Support with statutory accounts: support with tax notes in local GAAP statutory financial statements for International entities.
  • Withholding tax: manage treaty relief at source and reclaims, maintain residency certificates, and ensure correct gross-up/withholding process.
  • Transfer pricing operations: work with tax team, third party advisors, local finance and shared services to support intercompany charge execution, true-ups, Local File data packs and disclosures
  • Group reporting: support worldwide tax provision process
  • Audits and controversy: assist International Tax Director with management of international tax audits, inquiries, and notices with advisors; maintain robust documentation to drive timely resolution.
  • Manage external advisors and auditors: define scope, deliverables, and budgets; coordinate fieldwork; ensure knowledge transfer and documentation.
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams, FP&A, legal, and shared services to deliver on-time, accurate filings.

Advisory and business partnering

  • Support the global and international tax team and the broader business with consultancy projects and ad-hoc advisory matters
  • Advise on new market entries, supply-chain and contract changes, PE/nexus risk and implications, and filing requirements.
  • Work with the International Tax Director to provide technical support for entities in scope on proposed commercial transactions and restructurings.
  • Support M&A diligence and integrations, legal entity rationalization (mergers, conversions, liquidations), step plans, and tracking of tax attributes and indemnities.
  • Partner with FP&A on cash-tax forecasting, payment planning, and dividend/repatriation (WHT, substance).
  • Monitor legislative changes across key international jurisdictions, translate impacts and recommend pragmatic, compliant approaches.
  • Work with other finance groups such as legal, accounting, and FP&A to enhance business operations and to help implement tax-aligned strategic projects

Process improvement, controls, and technology

  • Maintain and own the tax compliance calendar
  • Standardize workpapers, tax packs, checklists, and templates for repeatability and quality.
  • Implement automation and analytics to streamline reconciliations, return workpapers, and tax pack preparation;
  • Strengthen internal controls and document tax processes

Requirements

  • Tax qualified in large practice, with an ACA qualification a strong advantage
  • 6+ years of experience in tax or relevant industry experience; multi-jurisdictional experience, as it relates to tax provisioning and compliance, an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of transfer pricing operational requirements (Local Files, TP disclosures, CbCR notifications) and awareness of Pillar Two concepts.
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership of deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Clear, concise communication with auditors, advisors, and non-tax stakeholders.
  • Project management, prioritization, and stakeholder influence across cultures and time zones.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, curiosity, and bias for action.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and disciplined documentation.
