Duties and Responsibilities

You as a Senior Systems Software Engineer will have the opportunity to work as a developer on Citrix Gateway product, which will present you with a unique opportunity to work on platform like On-premises, virtualization in a team environment that is customer focused, and is ready to work at a fast but sustainable pace, collaborate with the brightest engineering minds and work on cutting-edge technology in the area of Networking & Security

• Design, Lead and implement solutions based on the Layer7 proxy in On-Premises Gateway product.
• Design and implement highly scalable systems.
• Participate in Agile development and testing environment.
• Contribute to Quality and Process improvements throughout the development life cycle.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in CS/EC with 5-8 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing large complex products in the area of networking & security.
• Proficient in C/C++. Working knowledge in Java script is a plus.
• Linux/Unix - strong system-level knowledge.
• Good knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP) and other protocols like HTTP/S, DNS, SSL/TLS, QUIC etc.
• Expertise in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with object-oriented design concepts.
• Debugging Skills like GDB, core dump analysis, make files.
• Deep understanding of application architecture and design principles.
• Expertise in developing secure applications and threat modelling .
• Good analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience in building scalable on-premises or virtual platforms/services.
• Good team player with cross organizational skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Understanding in building, maintaining products in the area of Cloud Networking and being part of the journey to move from on-premises to cloud (Good to have).
• Ability and willingness to multi-task, innovate and learn new technologies quickly.
  
  

Education

Requires a Full-time degree in Engineering (Preferably Computer Science/EC related field)
