Sr. Specialist - Product Content Management
The Product Content Management Specialist/Senior Specialist scales and governs the web presence of the Process Solutions portfolio by owning the end-to-end PDP optimization operating model and leading portfolio-wide optimization initiatives. This role uses analytics and benchmarking to prioritize improvements, drives cross-functional alignment (Product Management, Marketing/MarCom, Digital & e-Commerce, Regulatory/Compliance), and enables the broader team through training, quality validation, and standards. The position builds and applies AI-driven tools and automations to increase throughput, consistency, and measurable commercial impact.
To maintain the material data, review and perform material changes, extensions as per requests. Validate the changes and confirm to business; resolve the queries which our local Material Master colleagues. Performs a range of routine assignments to solve problems of moderate complexity that require working knowledge and experience in master data.
Your role
Own the PDP optimization operating model (intake, prioritization, standards, governance routines, and continuous improvement) and develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for implementation.
Identify and prioritize content optimization opportunities though analytics.
Lead portfolio-wide content optimization initiatives to drive traffic and increase engagement.
Optimize product content for web performance, including SEO and AI-assisted search/discovery, and continuously improve findability and clarity.
Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify content and data gaps, positioning opportunities, and best practices to apply to the portfolio.
Monitor digital and commercial performance metrics (e.g., traffic, engagement, revenue) to measure success of optimization initiatives.
Build and apply AI-driven tools and automations to streamline product data/content workflows and increase operational efficiency.
Align content across Product Management, Marketing/MarCom, Digital & e-Commerce, and Regulatory/Compliance to ensure approved, consistent product representation.
Mentor junior team members, provide guidance and support with onboarding and training.
Validate quality of content generated by other writers.
Who You Are
Ph.D/Master’s degree in any Life Science Discipline (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in web product data management, e-commerce, digital content writing or a similar role.
Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) systems and data quality management practices.
Strong English writing skills with a proven track record of producing high-quality scientific and/or marketing content for a global audience / for web discovery optimization.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to deliver high throughput with consistency.
Proactive, high-ownership, and solution-oriented, with a bias for action and a track record of driving issues to resolution.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills, comfortable handling and analyzing data and using tools like e.g. Foundry, Excel, PowerBI to spot issues and trends.
Proven ability to multi-task and work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with competing priorities.
Familiarity with the Life Science industry and customer base, curiosity about product positioning.
Practical SEO understanding; adept at diving deep into search including algorithms and technical details.
Experience with digital marketing/SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Google Analytics).
Experience in creating and utilizing AI tools for data analysis, generating and optimizing user-centric content and process automation.
Overall understanding of the Marketing funnel and Customer buying journey.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) an databases that feed product information.
Comfortable using Performance dashboards, Sales reports, and market insights.
Familiarity with machine learning and natural language concepts and applications.
