Job Description

Popular Digital AI is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Bengaluru team in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MEAN/MERN stack development, relational databases, and DevOps practices, along with hands-on experience in the complete software development lifecycle.

You will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable web and mobile applications while providing technical leadership and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Application Development

• Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy scalable web and mobile applications using MEAN/MERN technologies
• Build high-performance, maintainable, and secure software solutions
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and software engineering best practices
  
  

• Lead technical initiatives and take ownership of assigned projects
• Guide development teams and provide technical mentorship
• Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews
  
  

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), product teams, and stakeholders to solve complex business problems
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  
  

• Work with DevOps tools and processes to improve software delivery
• Utilize Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
• Support automated deployment and release management
  
  

• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments
• Work with platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions
  
  

• Design and manage relational databases
• Optimize database performance and ensure data consistency
• Work with:

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews

• 3–6 years of experience in software development with strong hands-on expertise in web and mobile applications
