About The Team

The Enterprise Vendor Team is a dedicated group that is responsible for building and maintaining critical enterprise vendor platforms. The team Vendor Compliance System (VCS) supports the Vendor Management team in improving vendor performance and accountability. The main users of VCS are Product Vendors and Lowe’s Merchandising Operations teams. The goal of VCS is to help vendors meet Lowe’s enterprise targets for on time delivery, Fillrate, ASN Date, and ASN Quantity accuracy. The system helps publish vendor fines, manage rebuttals, process exemptions, and generate reports and debits.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Independently writes high quality, maintainable, and robust code by building adequate test suits and observability framework.
• Automates and simplifies team development, tests, and operations processes for efficiency of delivering the work.
• Develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable microservices using Java and the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
• Implement robust and efficient communication between microservices using RESTful APIs, event streaming with Kafka, Schedulers.
• Work with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases
• Should be able to investigate on performance issue and solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers and engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and technology stack.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software development, particularly in the Java/Spring ecosystem, microservices architecture, and data management.
• Preferably work with any AI related solutions.
  
  

Years Of Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or a related field.
  
  

Education Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.
  
  

Primary Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or a related field involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) through iterative agile development
• Minimum 5 years of experience in java and microservices (preferably Spring Boot).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in messaging system (preferably kafka)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in No SQL and caching framework– Preferably Mongo DB, Postgres, any caching framework
• Minimum 5 years of experience in build tools (Maven or Gradle)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in version control (GIT)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring tools (kibana , Grafana)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in using Docker and related platform.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Testing automation frameworks.
  
  

Secondary Skills

• Preferably work in frontend technologies (React JS and Express Js)
• Preferably work in Google platforms.
