Job Title : Senior Software Engineer (DevOps + Backend)

Location : Bengaluru, IN

About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong DevOps foundation and solid backend development experience. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure and application engineering—ideal for someone who enjoys building reliable platforms while also contributing to backend systems and services.

You will play a key role in designing, building, and operating scalable cloud infrastructure, while also developing backend components and automation that improve system reliability, developer productivity, and operational efficiency.

What will you own :

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Pulumi, Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize workloads on Kubernetes (EKS), including scaling, reliability, and observability.
• Design and develop backend services, APIs, and tooling using Java, Python, and/or Golang, with a focus on performance and maintainability.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system observability.
• Manage and optimize AWS/cloud environments with a focus on cost, performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to support platform and infrastructure operations.
• Leverage generative AI and AI coding tools to accelerate developer productivity, engineering workflows, and automation of repetitive tasks
  
  

What were looking for :

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related infrastructure roles.
• 1+ year of hands‑on programming experience using Python, Java, GoLang.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Deep understanding of AWS architecture, networking, IAM, and cloud infrastructure operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes/EKS.
• Strong skills in SQL (read/write) and experience working with RDS MySQL/Postgres.
• Experience with platform upgrades, cloud migrations, or large‑scale infrastructure improvements.
• Understanding of AI-native software development practices, including automated code generation, AI-driven testing, and human-in-the-loop review systems
• Proven ability to adopt and drive modern engineering paradigms, particularly integrating AI into development workflows to improve productivity, quality, and delivery speed
  
  

Bonus Requirements :

• Experience working with Hadoop ecosystem infrastructure (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Presto).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
