Senior QA Engineer

About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join the MADTECH.AI team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation and manual testing within a B2B SaaS product environment and a passion for building scalable, high-quality software products.

This role requires hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks, validating APIs and data workflows, and collaborating closely with engineering and product teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, PyTest, or similar.
• Performed functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing for B2B SaaS products through manual testing.
• Validate REST/GraphQL APIs using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and defect triaging.
• Work closely with CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated testing into deployment workflows.
• Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL queries.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and engineering best practices.
• Support performance, security, and scalability testing initiatives when required.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to building a strong quality engineering culture.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on automation and manual testing.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience working in B2B SaaS product companies.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, Cucumber, PyTest, or similar.
• Good programming/scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong experience in API testing and automation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database testing.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of security testing concepts and VAPT/security basics is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI/ML, MarTech, AdTech, or data-driven platforms is preferred.
• Exposure to test automation in distributed and scalable systems.
• Experience working in fast-paced product engineering environments.
