About The Role
The Senior Manager, Product Management is responsible for defining, building, and scaling products that deliver meaningful customer outcomes and sustained business impact. This role owns product strategy, customer-led discovery, roadmap outcomes, and portfolio evolution within the larger product portfolio.
This is a senior product leadership role that works in close partnership with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Services to ensure products are differentiated, adopted, and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
- Define and own a clear product strategy and multi-year vision grounded in customer needs, market dynamics, and MRI’s platform direction
- Translate strategic priorities into outcome-oriented product roadmaps with clear success metrics
- Make informed trade-offs across customer value, speed, scalability, and platform health
- Ensure portfolio investments reinforce long-term product differentiation and customer value
- Own and evolve pricing strategy in partnership with Product Marketing, Finance, and Sales, ensuring pricing reflects customer value, market positioning, and product maturity
- Customer-Led Discovery & Validation
- Establish continuous discovery practices that integrate customer insight into product decisions
- Frame opportunities around customer problems and jobs-to-be-done
- Validate assumptions using qualitative research and quantitative product usage data
- Ensure major initiatives have clear hypotheses, measurable outcomes, and learning objectives
- Roadmap Ownership & Delivery Outcomes
- Own the product roadmap end-to-end, including prioritization, sequencing, and outcome definition
- Partner with Engineering leadership to ensure predictable delivery and technical sustainability
- Hold teams accountable for delivering business and financial outcomes, not just features
- Align roadmaps across regions, platform initiatives, and related MRI products
- Product-Led Growth & Go-To-Market Enablement
- Design product capabilities that drive adoption, retention, and expansion
- Partner with Product Marketing on positioning, packaging, and value messaging
- Support Sales and Customer Success with clear product narratives, customer value metrics, and use cases
- Ensure go-to-market motions reflect product readiness and customer value
- Market & Competitive Insight
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, customer alternatives, and competitive offerings
- Use competitive insights to inform product strategy and investment decisions
- Clearly articulate differentiated product value internally and externally
- Anticipate market shifts and adjust strategy proactively
- Represent MRI as a product thought leader by engaging with the industry through conferences, panels, and speaking engagements
- Product Organization Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Product Management organization
- Set clear expectations for product management excellence across discovery, strategy, and delivery
- Establish consistent operating rhythms such as OKRs, roadmap reviews, and outcome tracking
- Support talent development through hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Executive & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a senior voice of the customer within the organization
- Align Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Services, and Customer Success around shared goals
- Communicate progress, trade-offs, risks, and decisions clearly to executive leadership
- Drive alignment and accountability across cross-functional teams

- Customer adoption, activation, and time-to-value
- Retention, expansion, and reduction of churn drivers
- Product influence on customer satisfaction and growth outcomes
- Roadmap predictability and delivery of intended outcomes
- Health, maturity, and effectiveness of the Product Management organization
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, including senior leadership roles (top-tier consulting firm experience will be considered as well)
- Proven experience owning product strategy and delivering measurable outcomes in B2B SaaS
- Strong customer discovery, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Experience building and leading high-performing product teams
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and execution levels
