The Role

We are looking for a Senior Design For Test (DFT) Staff Engineer with experience in handling design for test of embedded MCU/DSP & mixed-signal systems, to build products with the right quality and costs.

What You’ll Do

• Define and implement design strategies to maximize test coverage across a breadth of products
• Problem solving & innovation: Identify novel solutions for optimizing test cost and coverage
• Technical guidance & mentoring: Guide world-wide teams in technical areas of test strategies all the way to productization

QUALIFICATIONS

What You’ll Need

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
• At least 10 years of strong technical experience in VLSI design for test, with specific emphasis on mixed-signal products
• Strong technical leadership on state of the art test methods
• An extensive technical background within the development of semiconductor products or sub-components (IPs)
• Experience with embedded CPUs, from a hardware and software/firmware perspective
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to define strategic actions, with appropriate design trade-off analyses
  
  

What Else You May Bring (Experience in some of the following areas is a plus)

• Experience in the design of test for digital and mixed-signal circuits
• Awareness of and experience with testers and tester requirements
• Definition of design intent in one or more of test intent definition, design vs. test-cost trade-of analysis, EDA tool solutions, analog parameter testing, etc.
• Awareness in analog design practices and requirements
