Senior Technical Manager, Development and Application Support (Supply Chain Management and Logistics)
Lead a global follow-the-sun application support organization along with development responsibilities for mission-critical supply chain logistics platforms. Drive stability, uptime, and SLA performance through strong operational rigor, training and accountability, reduced technical debt, and AI-enabled automation/process improvement. Partner across business and IT in a matrixed environment (including vendors) to deliver enhancements and integrations, coordinate end-to-end incident restoration with Infrastructure/Cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
Run global support operations to meet SLAs, improve uptime, and drive incident/problem/change management with end-to-end restoration.
Lead, coach, and develop managers and teams; set clear expectations and performance standards.
Own support strategy and roadmaps; align priorities to business outcomes and long-term platform health.
Drive continuous improvement using metrics, automation/AI, and process standardization; manage budgets/resources.
Deliver enhancements, integrations, and large-scale programs/projects with predictable agile execution.
Provide technical/architectural oversight to ensure solutions meet standards, security, and operational requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
14+ years of relevant experience, including IT management and leading teams.
Relevant IT certification(s) preferred.

Lead and Develop Teams: Lead and develop multiple teams of IT professionals across different specialties, fostering growth and collaboration.
Manage Stakeholder and Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with key stakeholders and vendors, ensuring effective communication and successful partnerships.
Mentorship & Development: Mentor team leads and managers on advanced techniques, helping them grow their technical expertise and leadership skills.
Operations Excellence: Drive operational improvements across multiple IT teams, leverage data analytics to demonstrate effectiveness, and optimize resource allocation and budget management to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Project Guidance: Guide multiple teams in implementing complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
Stakeholder Communication: Ensure frequent and effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
Strategic Alignment: Align IT initiatives with broader business goals and strategies, ensuring technology supports long-term business objectives.
Strategic Implementation: Ensure that IT practices are strategically implemented to support long-term business goals and objectives.
Risk Management: Develop and oversee risk management processes for multiple IT teams, proactively addressing potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project and operational success.
Technical Oversight: Provide oversight on the architectural and design aspects of IT, ensuring alignment with industry standards and business needs.
Team Member Support and Empowerment: Actively support team members by identifying and creating opportunities for skill development, cross-functional exposure, and career advancement, ensuring their success and alignment with organizational goals.
Vendor Management: To ensure optimal service delivery, evaluate and manage relationships with IT operations vendors and service providers.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned, which align with our organizations vision, mission, and values and fall within your scope of practice.
Education: Bachelors degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant experience.
Preferred Certification(s): Any relevant IT Certification.
Experience: 14+ years of relevant and practical experience, preferably in SAP SCM, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
