Senior Functional Consultant - Oracle Finance Cloud

We are assisting our client with their search for consultants to join their team to drive digital transformation and modernization projects.

Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Cloud Functional Consultant to provide end-to-end production support for Oracle Cloud Financials. The primary focus will be stabilizing live systems, resolving incidents, and ensuring smooth finance operations, while assisting with minor functional enhancements and configurations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production incidents and service requests across Oracle Finance Cloud modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Tax, Indirect tax.
• Has an understanding of Projects Module (Project Billing & Costing).
• Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes or process improvements.
• Ensure SLA adherence, escalation management, and timely resolution of issues.
• Support patches, upgrades, and system maintenance activities in production.
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, data corrections, and reporting issues.
• Maintain knowledge base, support guides, and documentation of recurring issues and resolutions.
• Assist with configuration changes, enhancements, and workflow adjustments.
• Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials for end users.
• Participate in testing cycles (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT) for minor releases or patches.
• Support business users with process guidance and system navigation.
  
  

• Hands-on experience in Oracle Finance Cloud Functional roles, with a focus on production support.
• Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Tax, Indirect tax and related finance processes.
• Has an understanding of Projects Module (Project Billing & Costing).
• Experience in issue resolution, troubleshooting, and post-go-live support.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher) and integrations.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
  
  

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent
• Oracle Finance Cloud certification(s).
• Experience with SLA-based support models or managed services.
• Exposure to end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials Production support & implementations.
