About the Role:

We are hiring a Fullstack Engineer who will work across frontend and backend systems to build scalable, intelligent, and high-performance AI-driven products. You will play a key role in developing user-facing interfaces, backend services, and APIs that power Lucio’s AI-driven legal products. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in React, Node, and Python, along with a product-first mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems.
• Develop rich, performant user interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern CSS.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node and Python.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and ensure seamless frontend–backend integration.
• Work on asynchronous processing, background jobs, and task queues using Python frameworks.
• Build, integrate, and maintain LLM-based features, OCR pipelines, and AI-powered workflows.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across the stack.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Work closely with frontend, backend, DevOps, QA, product, and design teams to deliver high-quality features.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in fullstack or product engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with React for building complex user interfaces.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node and building backend services/APIs.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development and async processing.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and modern web practices.
• Experience with frontend state management and data-fetching libraries.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Flask, Celery, or similar.
• Understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous task queues, and background processing.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLM integrations, OCR, or document processing systems.
• Familiarity with databases, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a product-driven, ownership mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
